MarketingZoom's Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy of Marketing Zoom, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“MarketingZoom,” “we,” “us” or “our”), sets forth the privacy terms as to the MarketingZoom web site (“Web Site”). By accessing, using or registering with the Web Site, you, the end user (“User”) accept and agree to this Privacy Policy. MarketingZoom values Users’ privacy, feedback and candor very highly. Any User information we collect is considered private and we do not use it or share it except as permitted herein, without User’s permission. We use this information at MarketingZoom to provide the best quality service possible. MarketingZoom is not responsible for the information Users choose to submit or share on a user profile (“Profile”) or with other Users.

Information Collected by MarketingZoom

MarketingZoom may collect information about Users from several areas of the Web Site, including any information set forth in Profiles; posted opportunities; submitted email or registration forms; and any surveys or contests that MarketingZoom may sponsor and in which Users may participate. MarketingZoom may collect User activity for statistical, archival, and business purposes. MarketingZoom may track the IP address of a User’s computer or place a “cookie” in the browser files of a User’s computer. This is required to provide automated features.

Use of Collected Information

Collected information helps MarketingZoom better understand Users’ needs in order to improve its offerings. Email addresses may be used to communicate with Users through message alerts, notices, bulletins, newsletters, promotional emails, partner emails or for Web Site administration purposes. Users may choose to have their emails deleted from email lists at their request. Profile information may be used to contact Users for the purpose of research, marketing or customer service, if the User has opted to receive such communications. User search activity may be collected and analyzed and may be utilized by MarketingZoom in the aggregate or in the abstract for a variety of business purposes. This information is not shared with anyone outside of MarketingZoom. IP address and cookie log data may be analyzed to better understand traffic flows and User preferences. MarketingZoom may retain the data it collects indefinitely. Users may have their Profile information deleted or deactivated by contacting MarketingZoom directly at Users may be asked to confirm their identity in connection with such requests.

Use of Messaging

Users may not use any messaging or other email services that we offer to send spam (i.e., unsolicited commercial email) or otherwise send content that would violate MarketingZoom's Terms and Conditions. We may monitor, track or save messages sent through the Web Site, but will be under no obligation to do so.

Shared information

We will share Users’ personal information with third parties only in the ways that are described in this Privacy Policy. We do not sell Users’ information to third parties.

Though MarketingZoom makes every effort to preserve privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect Users’ safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request served on our Web Site, and to any other third party with Users’ prior consent to do so.

MarketingZoom does not rent or lease User information to any third party, except as disclosed here. From time to time, MarketingZoom may obtain information (such as email addresses) from third party providers. It is our goal to only contact persons who we believe may have a legitimate business interest in MarketingZoom based on their membership or participation in other organizations or web sites, and who have indicated a willingness to be contacted for this purpose. While MarketingZoom endeavors to work with other sites and companies with a similar respect for user privacy, MarketingZoom cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of other sites.

Please be aware that in the event MarketingZoom merges with a third party, or in the event all or substantially all of MarketingZoom’s assets are acquired by a third party, customer information, including User information, may be shared and/or transferred to such third party. The information may only be used or shared by such third parties for the primary purpose for which the information was originally collected. Security of personal information

MarketingZoom’s Users and their uploaded information are considered to be MarketingZoom’s greatest asset and thus their privacy is treated with the utmost regard and respect. MarketingZoom takes every reasonable precaution to secure such information within both its computers and its physical premises.

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect Users’ information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Social Media Widgets

Our Web Site may include Social Media Features, such as the Facebook Like button and Widgets, such as the Twitter button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Web Site. Opting-out, editing, updating or deleting information

MarketingZoom utilizes email as a vital and primary communication channel with Users. Registered Users acknowledge and grant MarketingZoom the permission to communicate with them via email for any purposes MarketingZoom determines to be relevant, including, but not limited to, system messages, product updates, alerts, notices, bulletins, newsletters, service announcements and other marketing messages. MarketingZoom will use its best efforts to honor Users’ requests to opt out of marketing messages, but under no circumstances will MarketingZoom have any liability for sending any email to its Users.

Users who do not wish to receive marketing emails are requested to contact us directly. We also may send Users site and service announcement updates. Users are not able to un-subscribe from service announcements, which contain important information about service notices and responsibilities. MarketingZoom may occasionally communicate with Users via email about requested services and regarding issues related to their account/profile. It is important to note that this communication is not used for marketing or promotional purposes. Requesting the deletion of certain types of information may prevent Users from accessing some Web Site features.
